yesterday, there was Avenged Sevenfold rock band concert at MAX Pavilion. my friend told me he had a fun time moshing and body surfing. so i was wondering what moshing is. he told me that is it something like fighting, but not full blown. still very vague isn't it?
Moshing means- "dance violently to rock music in a frenzied and violent way" according to the dictionary.
i still cannot imagine how it is like.
then today, Jing told me that she had witness one moshing scene before. she said it is really fighting, people push each other very hard. basically, it is alot of violence. (x_X)
well, i am still curious. i wanted to see how moshing is really like. youtube make things really accessible. here is what moshing is like........
notice that crazy guy in the center dancing madly? yes, that is how moshing dance is like. siao isn't it? flinging your arm like...like it is going to be detached any time! this is another video of mass moshing on street....
i realise something more interesting in the second video on moshing. if you realise, there was a part where they had this mass ground punching action. weird huh~! this is not the only the video with that ground punching action in moshing dance. i notice this action in some other moshing video as well. weird to the max! well, i don't think there is a fixed action to moshing dance. they are kinda of free style. maybe this action symbolise something?? maybeeeee.....~?????
the last video is the best. it shows the real frenzies that happen in a rock concert. Moshing and Crowd surfing~
really really crazy. if i were at the concert, i wouldn't want to be the "wave". i wouldn't want to hurt my wrist. i wouldn't want to be "surf" as well. being a girl is at the disadvantage...
oh people, yesterday i made a discovery. going out with Jingg is always a bag full of insight gain. she brought me to this really old bread shop. where bread are make in the olden way. the thick and soft bread with kaya. the aunty was so generous in the spread. :D HOHO. yummylicious.
all this bread is like pearl. you have to shell away the shell, and unearth the soft tender white bread within. awesomeness~
the bread is really soft, one is NOT enough. today Jingg and i went back for more! believe or not, we walked home from Parkway Parade back to Hougang yesterday. the total journey time takes exactly 3hr. some wonder legs we have.
